German chancellor Angela Merkel is now Estonian e-resident. During her visit to Tallinn she said during her speech on 25th August 2016 in Ülemiste City (IT-part): “We have to work together in order to bring Industry 4.0. and Government 2.0 together. Estonia is The digital pioneer!”

She also said that the German public administration should learn via visits to Estonia how to digitalize.
